Beth,
I have a phenomenal resource for all things barcode and labels. I’ve done several small and large barcode projects and she hasn’t steered me wrong yet. She’ll have great advice even if you don’t purchase from her. Feel free to contact me directly and I’ll send you her contact information.
Have a Happy New Year!

Subject: Re: [DCHAS-L] Bar code tool
When selecting a barcode label material, consider the storage conditions it will be used in. Cold or possible contamination conditions (if leakage occurs) could affect the material. Using pre-printed barcodes helps prevent accidentally using the same barcode a second time.
Years ago, we purchased pre-printed labelswith a laminated coating for our chemical library samples. Cost 1c each. They worked well. I’m no longer in that role and I’m afraid I nolonger have the vendor info but I’m sure if you google for laminatedlabels, you’ll come up with something.

Hello All,
I am looking for an inexpensive way to generate barcodelabels to inventory chemicals.
Does anyone have a recommendation for an easy way to print these labels or a good software you would recommend?
Thank you!
