I worked with two formalin manufacturers, one in Massachusetts (Ineos? Indian Orchard) and one in Moncure North Carolina (plywood).

Formalin is not a great absorber of IR or UV at the ppm level. Multipoint Mass Spec (like the Extrel) or GC would probably be best, but these plants can't afford it.

Do you know someone familiar with formaldehyde exposure in the workplace? Maybe a coatings/painting shop, histology/medical laboratory, or lumber manufacturing?
I know someone who is developing a wearable monitor for formaldehyde, and looking for partners to help test a prototype of the device in the "real-world".
Not trying to sell the device, or any service. Just looking to collect some device performance data in "real-world" settings.
I probably can find some plywood mfgs near me, but other formaldehyde manufacturers would help.
Contact me off line. I just see digest. Ty.
