I have a customer who does set dressing for medical/science productions (I can imagine Monona's ears pricking up as I write that).
He's making some sort of table/benchtop set and is going to have some deck-mounted valves on the benchtop as well as some deck-mounted electrical boxes. Neither will really be connected to anything, but as they like to be as realistic as possible, he was wondering if there was any code restriction about the placement of gas outlets with respect to electric outlets. I suppose if we made the gas valves nitrogen instead of gas, that would get around the issue anyway.
Anyone know the code or have experience with this kind of issue?
Thanks,
Rob Toreki
PS: Worked with a lot of set dressers over the years - NCIS New Orleans, Green Hornet, The Informant, Greeks, The Amazing Race, Take Two, pilot for Close Up- Almost had Breaking Bad on the list but our 12 liter mantles were out of stock when they called.
