Every -80 I ever saw has casters and just rolls away. If you have a truck with a lift gate, it should be no problem. You have to decide if the contents of the freezers must be emptied before moving the freezer. If yes, coolers and dry ice pellets should keep
the contents at temperature until the freezer is in the new location.
Our bioengineering department will be moving to their new digs 0.3 miles away from their present location, all within campus.
