Hi Margaret,
Sometimes, they try to do these types of things because they do not know what is available. Are they aware that incubated shakers exist? Are they aware that the humidity that builds up in certain types of
incubators is likely to ruin the electronics of most shakers?

In order to assist, I (and others) would need more information on the setup. Right now, it “all depends” on the entire process and goals of the project.
Generally speaking a blanket “no” is not the right answer, but the question, “how can we do this safely with an acceptable risk profile?” is the right start to an answer.

Greetings,
I have a scientist who wants to put a small shaker unit into an incubator. The scientist and safety person in me are saying NO, but I would like to be able to quote something that can say no regulatory wise. If you have seen/done this,
please share that information with me as well.
I am working on finding information on this, but there is not much out there on this kind of process.
Can any of you assist with this situation?
