Mike,

Sigma Aldrich (a pretty reliable SDS source) has CS2 listed as a Category 2A eye irritant.   This is not a primary reference, but it certainly is "good enough" for the practicing safety professional.

Toxnet from the National Library of Medicine has it as an eye irritant: https://toxnet.nlm.nih.gov/cgi-bin/sis/search/a?dbs+hsdb:**At_Symbol_Here**term+**At_Symbol_Here**DOCNO+52

Hope that helps,

H

Curious if any one has experience  or references concerning eye irritation from low level exposure to gaseous carbon disulfide; CS2.  California state OSHA is looking into this matter as part of a proposal for a revised PEL for hydrogen sulfide- and CS2 confounds some of the literature data for H2S.
