We too are in the design and build phase for a new chemistry centre (NCC).  Simultaneously, as flexible working is on trend, desktop phones are being replaced with VOIP systems.

 

I chair a Health & Safety committee which advises the project management for the NCC, and our recommendation is clear: fixed line telephones must be installed in laboratories.

We are designing lab space and have run into the question of a hard wired phone? How many out there are still doing this? Would you recommend it? Suggestions and ideas are welcome.
