There is an app called "Sound Meter" by a company called Smart Tools Co. I am familiar with their apps, and all of their apps seem to have worked well for me. However, the applications out their are usually depended on the hardware within your smartphone or tablet.

Re: Best Safety Apps?

I think this may have been addressed before, but since new apps are created all the time, I thought I would ask the question again:

What are some of the best safety apps for smartphones and tablets that you have found?

A related but more specific question: Has anyone found a sound meter app that is accurate? All the free ones I have tried seem wildly inaccurate.
