The Chemical Safety workshop for the Southwest Regional ACS Meeting is ON! We have met the minimum number of registrants and we’re moving forward with the program. If you were waiting to register wait no longer!
The workshop will present a detailed, risk-based approach to the CHO position for both the industrial and academic environments. The course will cover the relevant regulatory requirements as well as best management practices and Chemical Hygiene Plan and Standard Operating Procedure development. Other topics that will be discussed are: Resource Materials, fundamental risk and exposure assessments and basic emergency response. The workshop will take place on the Baylor Campus – Saturday, November 16th, 8:30 to 4:30. Lunch on your own. ACS Member cost is $325, Non-ACS Member $350.
