Dear DCHAS Members,

I send this query in regards to a situation that recently arisen.

In one of our archways (a doorway which is a free-passage), there are two fire extinguishers, one on either side of the archway. My question is, do both need to be mounted in that area (i.e., both sides of the same archway), or can one suffice? One of the mounting points is now obstructed by a storage cabinet.

Thank you in advance.

-George
