Focus on the "flammable safe" versions.... if one is really needed.
Used ones may be a bit more reasonable but in general they cost quite a bit...
- why refrigerate? Just keep solvents capped/sealed and in a small flammables cabinet... or even a small dessicator.
The solvents don't evaporate or absorb water if properly sealed.
You can buy a lot of NMR solvents in small ampules for the cost of a "safe" refrigerator...

We have an area near our new NMR where we will be storing deuterated organic solvents. I have convinced my colleague who is in charge of the NMR that we can't use a simple dorm fridge for storing the small volumes of solvents.. But I would love to follow
up with him on any iinfo all of you could provide about inexpensive small (5 cu ft) flammable storage refrigerators or explosion proof fridges.
