This is going to sound weird, but coffee is said to be able to take care of napthalene in the mothballs. From my research on the web on how to get rid of the smell in old apartments, coffee, and some industrial air fresheners from places like a beauty supplier that are tubular and of a hard gel like material are best at eliminating the smell temporarily while you try to find the source. However, as many people have posted the urinal cakes from men's bathrooms contain the compounds that when broken down, create this smell. So these are all some things that my research has shown to help with your current situation.
There is a product called Cease (also Halt, or Stop). First used it when I worked through school as a janitor. Amazing stuff. Has almost no odor but a few drops in a bucket of water sitting in a room would eliminate all of the odor of fresh oil paint (back in the day when oil paint had high levels of VOC). Even gets rid of skunk odors by squirting a little in a room.. No idea what is in it but it does work extremely well. Had not seen it for years and then happened on it again and bought a case, giving some to family and friends.
