We have a gradua te student in our Chemistry Department who broke her foot and is now wearin g a boot that has open toes for the next 6-8 weeks (no crutches). Has anybody come up against this situation before and do you know of any prote ctive devices that can be worn and still allow the student to work in the l ab while meeting the “no open-toed shoes in lab” requirements?& nbsp; Thanks for your help.
