f undergraduate programs
Pardon my butting in on something that's not
in my area, but we really could use more doctors with a strong chemistry b
ackground rather than just biochem. There is a need to occupati
onal physicans and toxicologists or even general practitioners who know how
to read an MSDS or a product label.

Stacy, I
am a retired Prof in Physical Chem and do not know much about the accredit
ation of biochem programs. I have had many students who went to med s
chools with a traditional chemistry major. That seemed to work well.&
