All -- In response to Ken Smith's inquiry about antidotes to hydrogen sulfide exposure, I did a quick online search with the following results: One reference (see link below) states that there is no proven antidote to hydrogen sulfide poisoning. http://www.atsdr.cdc.gov/Mhmi/mmg114.html A second reference (at the link below), alluded to the apparent successful use of sodium nitrite in a single case of H2S poisoning and suggested that the efficacy of this treatment warranted further investigation. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9167244 I hope this response is of some value. This is oil refinery related where a sudden exposure to H2S could happen if something goes wrong with compressors and other pipelines and machinery.
