Actually I would like to see production lab related stories as well, since
 
I work in industry and perhaps other members do as well. 

I must say, however, the academic incidents have suggested to me that our 
company should monitor our new hires from the universities more carefully.

There are plenty of meth lab fire and accident stories coming through 
Google that I don't pass along to the list, since they're production 
settings rather than research, but I think an occasional one is a good 
reminder of the value of good chemical practices...
