You may want to suggest to your client to look into getting an H cube:

We have just got one and our researchers love it, and I love it as they 
can do hydrogenations on the bench without a hydrogen cylinder!
I'll leave it to one of the professional chemists to answer, but when we 
where looking at using a Parr hydrogenator the concerns include size of 
lab and ventilation, and the main issue pointed to me was the fact that 
hydrogen/air mixture can be explosive.

Hello All,
Would anyone be able to provide some guidance on the main safety 
concerns when dealing with hydrogenations?  I am specifically looking 
into the proper storage of the tanks and if an explosion proof motor is 
necessary when used a fume hood?
