Ron, A "Certified Industrial Hyginest" is not state certified. It is a certification obtained from the American Board of Industrial Hygienists. (www.abih.org) Some states license their "industrial hyginests" but they are not certified from the state, and some require this licensure to perform work in that state. Other states may license them, but do not require the license to work in that state. (Those may be called "Registered IH" or a variety of other names.) I had an inquiry from my SHE officer. Our insurance company is probably interested in having this since my company handles a lot of highly flammable material. > >Ron Andrus > Harry J.
