Is your respirator NIOSH certified? If not, you limit yourself to
non-employee applications that fall outside OSHA 1910.134 requirement.

Subject: [DCHAS-L] Low Cost Respirator

Would anyone know of a need for a very low cost disposable
chemical/viral/odor eliminating respirator?

Our work for a client in a niche arena has resulted in the manufacturing
capability for a comfortable, universal fit, disposable product that has
superior performance to a dual cartridge respirator at a fraction of the
cost. Costs, in fact, are less than for a single replacement cartridge.
Our client is not interested in commercializing the mask so it will not
likely enter the general marketplace unless we decide ourselves to take
advantage of the patents.

I have followed this group for a number of years and have come to trust
the answers. Does the world already have plenty of respirators?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts,
