Subject: static charge in exam gloves

Hello all,
I am fairly new to the list and wanted some advice on exam gloves and
static charge. Latex can hold a static charge and transfer this to the
utensil causing flaky substances to scatter during lab procedures such as
weighing powders. Is there any advantage over this with nitrile or
vinyl. Also, I was told that ethanol pretreat may help.

Thanks,
