/Please Excuse the Cross Postings/

The Campus Safety, Health and Environmental Management Association
(CSHEMA) and PRIZIM Inc. (PRIZIM) have partnered to create educational
seminars on campus and laboratory safety and environmental management
issues. The seminars are designed for those who have interest in, or
responsibility for, campus or laboratory environmental health and safety
issues. The goal is to bring timely and valuable EH&S professional
development opportunities to individuals from campuses and other
laboratory-based organizations in their regions at a reasonable price.
Professional and continuing education credits are available. For more
information about the October 2004 regional seminars and workshops at
DRI and MIT, visit http://www.cshema.org/ or
http://www.prizim-inc.com/Local/Local.htm or call Ms. Dana Mooney at
PRIZIM Inc. at (301) 840-9316 ext 133.

*Please note, if you are planning to attend the Reno* seminar and/or
workshop being held at DRI October 13 and 14 *and received a printed
brochure*, the phone number for hotel reservations is incorrect. It
should read 775-673-7446. (This has been corrected in the electronic
version of the brochure posted on the web sites listed above). When you
call to book your hotel, Ramsey can also help you with flight and rental
car arrangements for your Reno stay.

Reno in mid-October should be very pleasant. The average October high
is around 70 and overnight lows dip into the 30s. You might want to
come in early because Reno has much more than a casino (gambling)
experience to offer. Beautiful Lake Tahoe, historic Virginia City and
the state capitol, Carson City, are short drives from downtown Reno (and
from each other). For those without cars, the National Automobile
Museum, the Fleischmann Planetarium, the Nevada Historical Society, the
Nevada Museum of Art, and the Truckee River Whitewater (kayaking) Park
are within walking distance from the El Dorado Hotel and Casino. For
those who prefer hitting a small white ball over sightseeing, the region
has more than 40 golf courses. To plan a little fun to go along with
your Reno professional development experience check out

Hope to see you in October.
